Swimmers show support to Paralympic hopefuls

Ollie, who last week qualified for the London 2012 400m IM, handed out medals and started off the final swimmers on the day.

Carol Hallam, Sports Development Officer at Ashfield District Council said, ‘This is the first time we have organised a swim and all credit to the volunteers from Sutton Swimming Club who helped make it such an enjoyable and successful event. What a great way of supporting our local swimming champions on their journey to London 2012.’

The next event to support O.A.S.I.S. is the Active Ashfield Family Fun Run and Wheelchair Mile which will take place on Sunday 15 April at Ashfield School.Download an application form or pay online
